Rolling bearings are mechanical parts having the function of supporting loads applied between elements in relative rotation or translation motion (shafts, axles, etc.); they offer high precision, low friction, high speeds, reduce noise, heat, energy consumption and wear. Grease is used for the purpose of covering surfaces in relative motion, to avoid direct metal-to-metal contact, reduce friction, abrasion, heat, prevent corrosion and contamination of rolling elements, prolonging the life of the bearing itself. Incorrect or inadequate grease, too much or too little of it, incompatible grease mixtures, contamination of the grease with other elements are the main causes of premature failures or malfunctions. Numerous bearing greases are available in our warehouse; upon request we can supply additional packages of the same, or items not present in the catalogue, suitable for every need.
