It is used for limiting supporting surface of ejectors' plaques, making the surface as even as possible.
It avoids the dirt deposit and, however, it eases the elimination of it.
Material 38 NCD 4 with Pb, heat treatment casehardening, hardness 52 - 54 HRC.
